Salesforce.com begins the year with a major breakdown...

On Monday, January 4th, Salesforce.com has suffered a major breakdown preventing its users to access online services during about an hour.


Is 2010 bug happening for Salesforce?
It seems that 2010 is beginning the wrong way for Salesforce.com with an interruption of its services at 9pm (in Paris) on Monday which made the onlin platform unavailable during 40 minutes. Regarding the hour of the incident, the American clients were more annoyed than the Europeans.


Salesforce.com said it was still analyzing the situation to be able to give more explanations soon and to take appropriate action.This failure does not prevent Salesforce.com to announce an availability of 99.9%.

However, Salesforce is not the only provider
to have experienced difficulties with its online services. Google has also faced several failures on its offerings Apps and Gmail in 2009. Like Research In Motion (RIM), whose servers incidents in 2008 and late 2009, have prevented its BlackBerry customers operate.
