Choosing a software to run your company can be very difficult. That is why I decided to make it look simple in a tab : Online Solutions vs Solutions under license, here are advantages and drawbacks of the two types software.

In a word, the main disadvantage of a SaaS solution is that the user does not have his data in his own computer: his data is hosted. And this is exactly the feature which makes people afraid of choosing an online solution. However, some providers are doing their best to make the users sure their data is safe and still belong to them. This is done by the members of the Non-Profit Association TIO Libre for example.
