It seems that Oracle is no longer against the cloud if we believe its new strategy with OpenOffice.
Oracle has recently unveiled part of its plan. Actually, for Sun's offers, Oracle's strategy is still confusing for now.
But, regarding OpenOffice, Oracle decided to put an online offer to compete with Office 2010 Office Web Apps and Google Docs. The details of this version are still unknown so is its availability. We even don't exactly understand if we can definitively talk about a proprietary license.
Nevertheless, one thing we can be sure about is that next competition in office softwares will be on the cloud.
