How Google Buzz threatens privacy

Google's actions with Buzz confirmed some of our fears about Google.

Google knows more about you than Governments- Google has got the largest amount of personal information on the planet. Google knows more about you than the government, for example. However, users trust Google to use tacitly the information they need to access Google services such as search and email.

Actually, the fear has always been that Google may use our personal information by other means that we never authorized. Google has tried to allay those concerns with its privacy policy in which it says it anonymizes' IP addresses after 9 months and cookies in our search engine lists after 18 months. "

Our fears with Google Buzz-
When Google Buzz appeared, people with a Gmail account were surprised to see the contacts they had in Gmail turning into Google Buzz friends. By default, this list of friends has been exposed to the world through their profile, mixing all kinds of contacts (professional and personal). Following this incident, users have looked for ways to disable Google Buzz.
In fact, Google has tried to of establish a new social media site. The product was trying to be helpful and to prevent users from having to seek and to save their friends on another social network.

Nevertheless such a negligence on Google's part about the privacy implications of the Google Buzz prompts us to ask questions about the treatment of Privacy in general. All this calls into question the policies and procedures implemented by Google to protect its users Privacy.
