More than one SMB out of 3 still has no accounting software

92% of small businesses has got computing systems and the way these machines are used is evolving with mobility.

92% of SMEs with 1 to 19 employees are now computerized. The fact that Internet and computers are now used on personal purposes has obviously made easier their introduction in small businesses. The computers prices and the generational renewal of business leaders have also influenced the choice of computer equipment.

However, concerning the accounting software, there was almost no evolution: SMB prefer- in 35% of cases- rely on a support network such as accountants. Yet it seems that what is really a lack for entrepreneurs is a commercial assistance or support to set up software solutions.


In fact, start-ups often give priority to prospection. A third of their employees will be in charge of looking for business contacts and will become mobile. Consequently, they will need to access their data from everywhere and at any time to enable them to manage their business and make decisions.

Mobility should change things...
